BROADSTAIRS & Beaches »» With its "picture postcard" Viking Bay central beach, Joss Bay for watersports and the superb rock formations of Botany Bay there's something sandy for everyone.
FOLKESTONE & Hythe »» From Sunny Sands past Folkestone's picuresque harbour with the lively "Harbour Arm" up to the clifftop "Leas" promenade then down to Sandgate and around the bay to Hythe.

HERNE BAY & Reculver »» Featuring a long pebbly beach most activity is centred around Herne Bay's pier, historic clock tower and (parallel to the beach) High Street. Reculver features the ruins of a church on the site of a Roman fort and a nature reserve.

MARGATE & Birchington »» Proud of its kitsch style, balanced with Turner associations and newly restored Dreamland theme park Margate is certainly "on the up". Why not come "down to Margate"?
RAMSGATE & Pegwell »» More than just the UK's only "Royal Harbour" Ramsgate also features its' largest pub overlooking a big sandy beach. Pegwell nature reserve is a "twitcher's" heaven.
SANDWICH TOWN »» An original cinque port, now inland, Sandwich features some well preserved medieval buildings and a pretty riverside walk and park. Famous golf courses lie between Sandwich and the sea.
WALMER & DEAL »» Whilst independent towns Deal and Walmer share a coastline, similar Tudor coastal defences (castles) and a range of great restaurants and bars. Deal has its Pier and Walmer its popular Green.
DOVERS COASTLINE »» Dover itself is undergoing a redevelopment but all along the "white cliffs" are battle of Britain memorial sites with great views and below sheltered bays like St. Margarets at Cliffe.
WHITSTABLE & Seasalter »» Known for its oyster beds and festival Whitstable is home to a thriving town centre and beachfront bars and restaurants with its harbour area a partcular draw. Tankerton stretches east along the coast.
